We begin our odyssey on January 8th in Miami, Florida. There, we will spend the night at the The Four Seasons hotel. The Regent cruise line is hosting a party that evening for the passengers. We will have a chance to meet the other 698 passengers and get acquainted! Other dignitaries, such as the captain of our ship, will be there also. Since Jim’s brother lives in Florida, he is going to visit with us before we leave. He promises to bring us a dominoes set - just in case there isn’t one on the ship!
On January 9th we board the ship in Ft Lauderdale . After that we have our first excursion on the Princess Cays island in the Bahamas. There we have a rendevous with another Regent line ship - the Seven Seas Mariner for a beach barbeque.
Then-2 days at sea before we land in Bridgetown, Barbados for another beach event. I think you should stay tuned for what comes next! (We’ll need the 2 days in between to unpack our “stuff.”
